This book presents a selection of contributions to 8th Annual Conference of the Cognitive Science Society (Gesellschaft für Kognitionswissenschaft) held at Saarland University, March 2007, in Saarbrücken. The proceedings include extended and peer reviewed versions of presentations. It is a small sample of contributions in linguistics (phonetic processing, alignment, spatial expressions), applied cognition (driving behavior, analogy, dual task perfromance), and neurocognition (working memory, semantic priming). The papers give a flavour of the presentations given at this conference and they present recent results from research in the field of cognitive science.
